YMCA Leaders Club is a year-long leadership development program designed to help teens in grades 8-12 discover their full potential while serving the community.
In addition to leadership training, teens volunteer with projects such as mobile food markets, sports programs, customer service, and youth development.
Leaders Club is a safe space where teens can be themselves and connect with like-minded peers in a positive environment. Adult advisors help them develop their potential as leaders and promote a culture of service. With the guidance and support of role models and mentors, teens develop the skills they need to make a positive impact in their communities.
The program is grounded in the Five Pillars of academics, college knowledge, positive relationships, life skills, and positive identity. These elements are proven to help teens reach their full potential and ensure they are equipped for success in life after high school.
